How about learning some Italian ?

hi / hello / bye = ciao

you say ciao when you meet other kids and it can mean hello or also good bye - practically its always ok to say ciao .

good day / good morning = buon giorno when saying hello to an adult you do not know , it is educated if you use the more formal version to say hello .

good bye = arrivederci this is a difficult word - I admit - it is used if you say good by to someone you do not know , like in a shop or restaurant for example .

yes = si

no = no now that was easy … wasn´t it ?

good night = buona notte

thanks = grazie

please = per favore

see you tomorrow = a domani

my name is = mi chiamo

what´s your name ? = come ti chiami?

I am … years old = ho ….anni

and here are the numbers from 1 - 10 :

1 = uno 2 = due 3 = tre 4 = quattro 5 = cinque 6 = sei 7 = sette 8 = otto9 = nove

10 = dieci
